A Letter from Pastor Jeff and Stephanie
Dear Church Family & Friends,
Merry Christmas!
Christmas is a season of joy, peace, and love and a time for giving. There is something special about giving that brings joy not only to the recipient but to the giver as well. In fact, the practice of giving is not a recent innovation, but it began on the first Christmas when Jesus was born. Everyone in the story had something to give. Mary submitted to God's plan and gave her body to be the first home for the incarnate Savior. Joseph gave his love and protection to Mary and the child, who was not his own. An angel gave the announcement of the Messiah's birth to the shepherds. A host of angels gave praise and glory to God. The wise man gave gifts worthy of royalty. "God gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
During the month of December, we join together each Christmas to give a special Birthday Offering in honor of Christ's birth. This offering helps resource the church Christ gave His life for to continue to reach the lost, help the hurting, invest in families, and change the world.
