Dear Church Family & Friends,
This year marks a remarkable milestone in the life of our church — 50 years of ministry, miracles, and God’s marvelous faithfulness. What a testimony to His goodness and the steadfast love of this church family!
Here’s what to expect:
50 Days of Prayer: To honor this special moment, we are launching a 50 Days of Prayer journey leading up to our 50th Anniversary Celebration service. This season of focused prayer will begin on Sunday, July 27. Each day, we will reflect on God’s goodness and intercede for the future of our church, families, community, and mission. Click here for a daily prayer points list to unify our hearts in purpose and passion as we pray together.
Special Anniversary Celebration Service: On Sunday, September 14, we will come together to celebrate this historic moment. Join us in the coffee shop area from 10-11 AM for free coffee, breakfast items, and a time of connection. There will be no Sunday school. The service will start promptly at 11 AM with worship, testimonies, special guests, and presentations. Please help us spread the word and invite!
Anniversary Offering: As part of our celebration, we invite each person and family to sow a special 50th Anniversary Offering — a sacrificial gift to honor God’s goodness and to invest in the future. We are believing for a miraculous $50,000 offering in honor of 50 years! You may give in person, online ↗︎, or by mail to 4685 N Highway 27, Carrollton, GA 30117 by Sunday, September 14. Please mark it “Anniversary Offering”.
Celebration Lunch: Immediately following the service, we invite you to stay and join us for a delicious meal and time of fellowship. The church will provide the meat, dessert, bread, and drinks. Please help us by bringing lots of side dishes only. Please bring them to the hall in disposable containers between 10-10:30 AM.
We believe this season will not only honor the past but also ignite a fresh vision for the future. Let’s press into prayer, unity, and joyful expectation for what God is about to do!
Thank you for being a part of this legacy. Let’s celebrate together — a legacy of God’s Goodness!
In His service,
Pastor Jeff Maxwell
