Pastor Jeff Maxwell is a native Georgian who grew up in the west Georgia area and graduated from Carrollton High School. While attending a local church, he met his future wife, Stephanie, when her family came to lead that church. After marrying in 1994, Pastor Jeff and Stephanie began serving as youth pastors and in music ministry, with Stephanie as the church pianist.

Early in their ministry, Pastor Jeff and Stephanie were bi-vocational. Pastor Jeff worked for a major corporation, serving in business management and sales. He also studied and pursued his licensing and ministerial credentials within the Church of God to become an ordained bishop. Stephanie graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in early childhood education and taught pre-K for eight years. Together, they owned and managed a local business. During this time, God began to call them into full-time ministry.
Over the past 20 years, God has provided opportunities for full-time ministry for the Maxwells to serve and grow as associate pastors, evangelists, and lead pastors of two other congregations in the Church of God denomination. In 2019, God opened a door for the Maxwells to serve at Mount Holly Church as administrative pastors. In June 2021, they transitioned into their current role as lead pastors. With the heart of an evangelist and the role of a pastor, Pastor Jeff and Stephanie are passionate about reaching the lost, equipping the church, and leading people into the life-changing presence of God.

While their passion is serving in ministry, they also enjoy traveling and spending time with family, including their two children, Bethany and Cameron. Bethany serves on Mount Holly’s praise team and is an elementary school teacher. Cameron serves at Mount Holly in various areas of ministry and works full-time at a local business.
Pastor Jeff and Stephanie are excited about the future of Mount Holly Church. They believe that God has positioned the church for this time to reach the lost, help the hurting, invest in families, and change the world.
